Candace Nelson’s Fudgy Chocolate Cookies Recipe
Kroma’s friend and fellow superfood fanatic, Candace Nelson, is a food entrepreneur and accomplished pastry chef known for co-founding Sprinkles, the world’s first cupcake bakery. Today, we’re sharing her healthy chocolate fudge cookie recipe using our favorite guilt-less pleasure, our OMG Cookie Butter. Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
½ C Kroma OMG Cookie Butter
½ C Chocolate chips
6 T Coconut sugar
2 T Maple syrup
2 tsp Vanilla extract
1 Egg
¾ C Almond flour
¼ C Cocoa powder
1 tsp Baking soda
½ tsp Sea Salt
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Microwave Kroma OMG Cookie Butter and chocolate chips until combined
- Add coconut sugar, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and egg. Mix until combined
- Add almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and sea salt. Mix until combined
- Scoop dough into 1oz balls and place on a baking sheet 2 inches apart
- Bake for 9-12 minutes at 350 degrees
- Cookies should be set on the edges and gooey in the middle
