This is a LIFESTYLE program - NOT an FMD (fasting mimicking diet). That being said, we do recommend fasting for at least 12-16 hours during the program. If you are accustomed to fasting, we recommend following your normal fasting protocol. If you are new to fasting, we recommend fasting for at least 12-16 hours during the program. Dinner by 6 pm (ideally no later than 7 pm) followed by breakfast at least 12 to 16 hours later — between 6 am and 10 am.
While everyone’s body is different, you can expect overall slimming, de-bloating and likely weight loss (unless you are on the Active protocol). You may also experience reduced swelling in your joints. You will likely experience more energy and a boost to your metabolism, less adrenal fatigue, and a balanced feeling overall. The Kroma 5-Day Reset is a program designed and intended to be customizable to your health goals and needs. Our 5-Day Reset Guide will help you determine which protocol (Lean, Lifestyle, Active) is right for you. Our app also includes an onboarding process that will recommend a protocol based on your health goals, concerns and desired outcome.
The program has about 1050 calories per day before adding any non-dairy milks, fruit, veggies or protein to the lattes, smoothies and broths. Add as needed depending on desired health goals (weight loss, reset, maintain, etc.) and activity level. The program is about NOURISHMENT and not starvation and deprivation. While you may feel hungry at times, you should never feel starved or depleted.
Ideally not as it is acidic and inflammatory. It can also disrupt your gut biome making it difficult to absorb nutrients. Note that the morning Beauty Matcha has caffeine and collagen so it will break your fast while also giving you a boost. If absolutely necessary, you may have a shot of espresso (which has less caffeine than coffee) in the morning if you are experiencing severe withdrawals and / or headaches from the reduction of caffeine.
We recommend consuming the products in relative order throughout your day, based on the individual timing of your life and your own personal needs. We invite you to embrace flexibility in your process and enjoy the daily wellness offerings as your body craves them. Depending on which sachet you’re preparing, all you’ll need is a little liquid (e.g., hot water or non-dairy milk), your (Kroma) frother, and a mug and you’re good to go!
Magnesium supplements should be taken with water (we recommend warm water, though cold is fine, too) after dinner and before you start your fast.
For the ideal healing and to enjoy the maximum benefits of the program, we recommend consuming your Reset from start to finish (Days 1 through 5). Your body will likely respond immediately but may take a few days to adjust to all the superfood nutrition, thus it is best to stick to the full 5-day process.
We recommend keeping a journal to monitor your overall energy levels, mood, sleep, digestion and any visible and / or physical reduction in inflammation (less body aches and pains).

No. The program has been designed to fit each person’s individual needs. Therefore, listen to your body and consume what you need when you need it.
Yes. We invite you to flow with your personal needs and schedule for the day. It is also not necessary to finish everything. However, we recommend spacing your meals out every 2-3 hours. Ultimately, the most important this is to listen to your body.
There is enough food in your program to stay nourished and satisfied throughout the day. It is important to understand that nothing is mandatory so if you do not like something, choose from one of the other items on the program for that day. See the “Shopping List” on in your 5-Day Reset Guide and refer to your protocol of choice (Lean, Lifestyle, Active) if you feel the need to add to your program.
Yes, we absolutely recommend allowing your body to gently transition after completing your Reset. Refer to the “After the Program” section on the App and in the Reset brochure on how to best transition and maximize the benefits of the program long after it is over. Now that you’ve experienced Kroma, you’re probably inspired by a whole new way of thinking about eating. It’s a great time to think about how to support your daily lifestyle with your favorite Kroma products. We also offer additional information on our Kroma app.
We have designed the Kroma Reset and Kroma products to support a lifestyle of wellness. With that said, we recommend doing the program at least seasonally if not more often. Because the program is nourishing vs. depleting, there is no limit to the number of times you can do it. Some people may choose to do it 2-3 weeks in a row.
To make regular Resetting easy, we offer a Subscribe and Save 10% program for our Resets. You can choose to have a Signature Edition Reset sent to you every 30, 60, 90 (recommended) or 120 days after your initial Reset.

Most people do not experience any detox symptoms outside maybe fatigue. That being said, depending on the level of detox your body is going through, some people may experience skin breakouts, gas, bloating, body aches, fatigue, low energy, headaches, irritability, cravings (for sweet, salty, or other unhealthy foods), diarrhea and/or constipation. It is important to drink extra water while on the program to help flush toxins and stay hydrated.
Your body is in a constant state of detox whether you are actively on a cleanse or not. Your liver, kidneys and colon are constantly ridding your body of toxic substances. These organs’ primary function is to keep your body from accumulating toxic substances. But… your body might not be working efficiently if your diet is full of processed foods or lacking nutrients. For those addicted to sugar, caffeine and/or alcohol, the detox symptoms will likely be more significant. Given the number of harmful chemicals in both organic and non-organic foods (pesticides, fungicides, food coloring, MSG), they may have a cumulative effect on your body, making it difficult for your body’s natural detoxification processes to function at full efficiency. If you quit coffee cold turkey, cut out all added sugars, or suddenly remove stimulants like chocolate from your diet, you will likely experience withdrawal symptoms. Since sugar, caffeine and other stimulant substances can be addictive, your body will react when it is no longer given these substances. Your body may go into a bit of a shock when you transition to a more nutrient-dense diet which could affect your digestion and ability to eliminate properly (poop).
While they are likely fine, we always recommend consulting your doctor before consuming any superfoods and adaptogens as they can affect everyone differently.
You may experience headaches within the first few days of a detox — especially if detoxing from too much caffeine, sugar or alcohol. It’s quite possible that digestive disturbances, while your body adjusts to the new way of eating, may radiate outward, manifesting as headaches or physical aches in other areas of your body. Headaches may also be a result of dehydration so remember to drink at least 64 ounces of water a day — especially when you are on a detox program.
Diarrhea and constipation can occur when there is a change in diet or when healthy food consumption suddenly increases. This is temporary and has nothing to do with detoxification. Once your body adjusts to the increase in nutritious foods, the symptoms will subside – usually within a couple of days. Constipation may also be due to dehydration. Make sure you are drinking at least 64 ounces of water a day — especially when you are on a detox program.

We only use natural sweeteners like monkfruit extract and occasionally a touch of maple sugar or coconut nectar. All of our products are low in sugar and we take pride in making them just sweet enough without having that fake sweet taste that so many “healthy” products have.

Yes, about half that of coffee. That being said, unlike the caffeine in coffee that can cause jitters, irritability or anxiousness, matcha has L-theanine, which is an amino acid known to help lower stress, improve concentration and balance mood. L-theanine actually slows down the release of caffeine so it is slowly absorbed, providing 4-6 hours of mental alertness and concentration.
While everyone is different, a normal serving size of Matcha should not cause jitters. Unlike caffeine from coffee, the effects of matcha’s caffeine are balanced out by the presence of L-theanine, an amino acid that helps reduce stress while also improving mood and concentration.
Jitters from coffee caffeine are often the result of over-caffeination and can really affect someone who is already anxious, or worse, has adrenal exhaustion. As a stimulant, it sends signals to the central nervous system to pump blood faster through the body, which can manifest in high blood pressure, palpitations, sweatiness and anxiety (the jitters).
Matcha is one of our favorite superfoods on the planet and our founder swears switching from coffee to Matcha changed her life. The OMG Cookie Butter has a shelf life of 12 months. All other Kroma products are shelf stable and good for at least 24 months from the manufacture date, if unopened. For best results, product should be stored in a cool, dry place until ready for use.

Most orders do get delivered in the estimated time window. You’ll want to calculate 1-2 days of processing in the Kroma warehouse, then add the shipping time for the delivery method you chose. However, shippers can experience unexpected delays due to weather, staffing shortages, or other unforeseen events. International shipments may also experience delays due to customs clearance processes. For international shipments, please allow for 2-4 weeks delivery/transit time.
There are a few reasons why your shipping code may not work. First, it may be expired, as all discount codes have an expiration date. Secondly, we generally only honor one discount or promotion code at a time, and you may already have a code in your shopping cart. Lastly, a code may be tied to the email you have registered with Kroma and only be valid if you are logged into your Kroma account. We do! You’ll notice that our shopping cart defaults to no signature required. But we strongly suggest that you choose the signature required shipping method when you complete your order so you can be sure your products are delivered safely into your hands.

Many international customers are eager to get their Kroma products. We are working on global shipping and hope to ship overseas in the near future. Currently, Kroma only ships to the United States (including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands) & Canada. We are unable to ship to Guam and/or other international locations.
Please be aware that all international orders are subject to duties, taxes, and import fees which are not calculated at checkout. Fees vary based on destination country / order value and are due at the time of delivery. Kroma Wellness has no control over these fees. You may want to contact your local customs office to determine fees before placing your order.
We do. One of our shippers is the United States Postal Service, who ships to PO Boxes. If your street address is not serviced by any of the most common shippers, your best bet is to have your order sent to your PO Box.
We are very sorry, but as a general rule Kroma does not offer refunds. We take your health and safety very seriously. As a food manufacturer, we ensure that all items are properly sealed and free of tampering. Once your order has been delivered and the package has been opened, we can no longer vouch for product safety and cannot restock those items. We are very sorry, but as a general rule Kroma does not allow product returns. If you have changed your mind about your Kroma products and your package has not yet been opened, we may be able to take your product back if it is returned to us unopened and in good condition. However, you must pay the return shipping and a restocking fee. In addition, we cannot refund your original shipping cost. If you have an unusual situation and need to return your Kroma products, please contact us at help@kromawellness.com.

Soy (from Miso)
All Kroma products are soy-free, except for the broths, in which we use fermented miso for flavor. If you are allergic to soy, you can certainly enjoy a successful Reset by substituting our broths for a low-sodium, soy-free veggie or bone broth. You can also choose to have your smoothies for lunch/dinner. Feel free to add spinach, kale, olive oil and / or ghee to your smoothies for additional nutrients.

Dairy / Eggs
Kroma foods and beverages are both egg- & dairy-free. We recommend blending products with water or your favorite unsweetened nut milk.
Tree Nuts / Peanuts
You can definitely enjoy a successful Reset as someone with nut allergies. Two of our Reset products contain nuts: OMG Cookie Butter and Super Porridge.
Our OMG Cookie Butter is intended as an optional energy boost/afternoon or anytime snack and can easily be substituted without impacting your Reset success. If you need that extra boost, consider adding additional protein & fats like avocado, olive oil, ghee, spinach, or kale to your smoothies to satiate.
Our Super Porridge, however, is a bit trickier to substitute as there is not much else on the market with similar ingredients and with a similar macronutrient profile. If you need to substitute our Super Porridge, we recommend options that are low-carb, low-sugar, low-calorie, and high in protein. We also recommend enjoying a smoothie for breakfast. You’ll want to make some additions to help satiate and match the fat-burning properties of the Super Porridge — try adding coconut cream or avocado and some frozen blueberries (but no banana or high-sugar fruit, as that will spike glucose levels).
Our broths are delicious and extremely nourishing, making them a wonderful substitute for the Super Porridge. Either way, make sure to also add additional lean protein and/or sauteed veggies to either your lunch or dinner broth, which will help make up for the nutrients missed from forgoing the morning porridge.

Cacao Banana & Vanilla Cinnamon Smoothies can be substituted with our Blueberry Acai Smoothie or any one of the broths. Additionally, you can make a boosted smoothie with your Supergreens and substitute this way. Either way, be sure to add in additional lean protein and/or sauteed veggies to your broths to help make up for the nutrients missed from those smoothies. Some great options include avocado, spinach, olive oil, ghee, & kale.
Superfood Creamer is included as a bonus gift in the Limited Edition Reset and is an optional way to add a boost of creaminess to any product. A great substitute would be an unsweetened, non-dairy creamer.

We care very much about Mother Earth and have taken steps to ensure that our products and packaging are as sustainable as possible. Our food sachets are made from post-consumer recycled materials. Our Reset boxes and product jars are 100% recyclable and are 3rd party certified by Paperbox.org. Our cardboard shipping boxes also use post-consumer material and are certified with the SFI logo.
