Reset will leave you feeling light and clear without compromising energy or vitality. Our programs are designed to
nourish and rejuvenate rather than deplete, therefore we recommend listening to your body and giving it what it needs.
For this protocol, you may not need to finish everything and will use less add-ins.
Additional recommendations to customize your protocol for the LEAN option:
You may not likely need to consume all the foods and beverages. Focus on your morning Matcha (assuming you are ok
with caffeine – otherwise, replace the afternoon Latte in the morning which does not have caffeine), the two broths,
the Super Porridge, Hydration Elixir, Super Greens Elixir and Magnesium. The rest is optional and may not be needed
on this protocol leaving you plenty of foods for after ☺.
Use hot water for all lattes or ½ water and ½ non dairy milk to minimize the calories of the milks.
Drink your broths as is with just water or choose one broth / day where you add some low starch veggies (broccoli,
bok choy, kale, zucchini, cauliflower rice, kelp noodles). Saute your veggies in coconut oil or ghee. Add spices to
the broths as needed to add flavor.
Smoothie is optional and not likely needed on the Lean Protocol.
Cookie Butter is also optional – perhaps enjoy only 1T / day instead of the recommended 2T.

Designed for the athlete or for those who need to be well nourished to optimize their active lifestyle, the Active Reset allows you to customize for performance and stamina. This program is less about weight loss and more about invigorating your system to facilitate a gentle detox, while fueling your cells and targeting inflammation.
For this protocol, we recommend adding whatever you need including extra protein, nuts, avocado, coconut cream and whatever else you need to stay fully satiated and strong to keep up with your regular activity level.
Additional recommendations to customize your protocol for the ACTIVE option:
Consume all foods – or at least those you enjoy and fit into your lifestyle.
Use non-dairy milk for all lattes – feel free to use coconut milk or other full fat milks.
Add any kind of veggies and clean protein to at least one of if not both of your broths.
Add fruit of choice along with avocado and / or coconut cream to your smoothie(s).
This is a LIFESTYLE program - NOT an FMD (fasting mimicking diet). That being said, we do recommend fasting for at least 12-16 hours during the program. If you are accustomed to fasting, we recommend following your normal fasting protocol. If you are new to fasting, we recommend fasting for at least 12-16 hours during the program. Dinner by 6pm (ideally no later than 7pm) followed by breakfast at least 12 hours later - 6-10am.

The Kroma 5-Day Lifestyle Reset is a lifestyle program designed and intended to be customizable to your health goals and needs. Our 5-Day Reset Guice will help guide you through which protocol (Lean, Lifestyle, Active) is right for you. Our app will also include an onboarding process that will recommend which protocol based on your health goals, concerns and desired outcome.
The program has about 1050 calories before adding any non-dairy nut milks or any fruit to the daily smoothie or veggies and / or protein to the broth(s). Add as needed depending on desired health goals (weight loss, reset, maintain, etc.) and activity level. The program is about NOURISHMENT and not about starvation and deprivation. While you may feel hungry at times, you should never feel starved or depleted.
Ideally not as it is acidic and inflammatory. It can also disrupt your gut biome making it difficult to absorb nutrients. Note that the morning Beauty Matcha has caffeine and collagen so it will break your fast while also giving you a boost. If absolutely necessary, you may have a shot of espresso (which has less caffeine than coffee) in the morning if you are experiencing severe withdrawals and / or headaches from the reduction of caffeine.
We recommend consuming the products in relative order throughout your day, based on the individual timing of your life and your own personal needs. We invite you to embrace flexibility in your process and enjoy the daily wellness offerings as your body craves them. Depending on which sachet you’re preparing, all you’ll need is a little liquid (hot water or non-dairy milk, etc.), your (Kroma) frother, a mug and you’re good to go!
Magnesium supplements should be taken with water (we recommend warm water, though cold is fine, too) after dinner before you start your fast.

Yes, we absolutely recommend allowing your body a gentle transition after completing your Reset. We have designed the Kroma Reset and Kroma products to support a lifestyle of wellness. With that said, we recommend doing the program at least seasonally if not more often. Because the program is nourishing vs. depleting, there is no limit to the amount of times you can do it. Some people may choose to do it 2-3 weeks in a row. Most people do not experience any detox symptoms outside maybe fatigue. That being said, depending on the level of detox your body is going through, some people may experience skin breakouts, gas and / or bloating, body aches, fatigue, low energy, headaches, irritability, cravings (for sweet, salty, or other unhealthy foods) and / or constipation. It is important to drink extra water while on the program to help flush toxins.
Your body is in a constant state of detox whether you are actively on a cleanse or not.
Your liver, kidneys and colon are constantly ridding your body of toxic substances. These organ’s primary function is to keep your body from accumulating toxic substances.
But … your body might not be working efficiently if your diet is full of processed foods or lacking nutrients. For those addicted to sugar, caffeine and / or alcohol, the detox symptoms will likely be more significant. Given the amount of chemicals in both organic and non-organic foods (pesticides, fungicides, food coloring, MSG), they may have a cumulative effect on your body, making it difficult for your body’s natural detoxification processes to function at full efficiency. If you quit coffee cold turkey, or you cut out all added sugars, or you suddenly remove stimulants like chocolate from your diet, you will likely experience withdrawal symptoms. Since sugar, caffeine and other stimulant substances can be addictive, your body will react when it is no longer given these substances. Your body may go into a bit of a shock when you transition to a more nutrient-dense diet which could affect your digestion and ability to eliminate properly (poop).
While they are likely fine, we always recommend consulting your doctor before consuming any superfoods and adaptogens as they are powerful and can affect everyone differently.
You may experience headaches within the first few days of a detox - especially if detoxing from too much caffeine, sugar or alcohol. It’s quite possible that digestive disturbances, while your body adjusts to the new way of eating, may radiate outward, manifesting as headaches or physical aches in other areas of your body. Headaches may also be a result of dehydration so remember to drink at least 64-ounces of water a day – especially when you are on a detox program.
Diarrhea and constipation can occur when there is a change in diet or when healthy food consumption suddenly increases. This is temporary, and it has nothing to do with detoxification. Once your body adjusts to the increase in nutritious foods, the symptoms will subside – usually within a couple days. Constipation may also be due to dehydration. Make sure you are drinking at least 64-ounces of water a day – especially when you are on a detox program.

Definitely not. All of our products are dairy-free, soy free (except miso used in the broths) and non-gmo. They are also organic, excluding collagen (as there are no organic collagens on the market...yet!) and our plant protein, Chocho which is a regenerative crop from Ecuador grown at 12K feet elevation. While they do not use pesticides or insecticides for these crops, Chocho is not yet certified organic but will be soon.
We only use natural sweeteners like monkfruit extract and may add a touch of maple sugar or coconut nectar. All of our products are low in sugar and we take pride in making them just sweet enough without having that fake sweet taste that so many “healthy” products have.

Yes, about half of that of coffee. That being said, unlike the caffeine in coffee that can cause jitters, irritability or anxiousness, matcha has L-theanine, which is an amino acid known to help lower stress, improve concentration and balance mood. L-theanine actually slows down the release of caffeine so it is slowly absorbed, providing 4-6 hours of mental alertness and concentration.
While everyone is different, a normal serving size of Matcha should not cause jitters. Unlike caffeine from coffee, the effects of matcha’s caffeine is balanced out by the presence of L-theanine, an amino acid that helps reduce stress while also improving mood and concentration.
