Do you know what’s in your protein powder?

Most plant proteins aren’t as healthy as they seem. Almost all are not organic, imported from overseas, sprayed with pesticides, and extracted with chemical solvents and heavy metals. The truth is, what’s marketed as “clean” often isn’t. That’s why we only use US-grown, organic pea and pumpkin proteins and a clean protein from Ecuador called Chocho — no chemicals, no shortcuts, just the pure, safe, nutrient-dense fuel your body deserves.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Kroma’s Plant-Based Protein different from others?

Our protein is crafted with organic superfoods, clean ingredients, and adaptogens for more than just muscle support—it’s daily nourishment that fuels energy, digestion, and overall vitality without fillers or artificial sweeteners.

How much protein does each serving provide?

Each serving delivers 20 grams of clean, plant-based protein sourced from peas, pumpkin seeds, and other nutrient-dense plants—enough to keep you full, satisfied, and fueled throughout the day.

How do I use it?

Simply blend with water or your favorite nut milk for a creamy, delicious shake. You can also add it to smoothies, oatmeal, or baked goods for an extra boost.

Is it allergen-friendly?

Yes. It’s naturally vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free, making it easy to enjoy daily, no matter your lifestyle.

Are all your ingredients organic?

We source organic whenever it’s available, but not every ingredient can be certified organic. For example, our bone broth is made from pasture-raised, hormone-free chicken for the highest purity, though organic certification isn’t possible. Collagen also isn’t available in organic form, and Chocho—a powerful plant protein grown sustainably at 10,000 feet in Ecuador—hasn’t yet been certified despite its pristine farming practices. Our standard is always the same: source only the cleanest, most nutrient-dense, sustainable ingredients on the planet.

Is your plant protein clean and safe?

Yes—unlike many plant proteins on the market. Most are imported from overseas and processed with chemical solvents, pesticides, and heavy metals that can linger in the final product. We do things differently. Our pea protein is US-grown, certified organic, and extracted without chemicals, so it’s as clean, safe, and nutrient-dense as it gets.

Will your protein powder cause bloating?

Unlike most plant proteins, it should not. Mostly because of the special blend of organic proteins that we have used that are not laden with chemicals and also because we added digestive enzyme and ginger for additional support.

Where does Chocho plant protein come from?

Chocho is a nutrient-dense legume grown high in the Andes mountains of Ecuador at elevations above 10,000 feet. Thriving in this pristine environment, it develops an exceptional nutrient profile—rich in protein, fiber, and essential amino acids—making it one of the cleanest and most sustainable plant proteins on the planet.

Why this protein powder?

No fillers, no fake sweeteners, no chalky texture. Just clean protein, digestive enzymes, and functional superfoods pre-blendid with coconut milk + coconut water for the best-tasting smoothie in just seconds.

Best Protein powder I’ve ever tasted!

"This protein is full of flavor and has become my goto first thing in the morning. It doesn’t taste like any other protein powder I’ve ever had. It’s not gritty, mixes well, you can tell the quality of the ingredients when you mix it and taste it. I absolutely love this protein powder!"

Be Strong Just Like Popeye—Eat Plants

"As a vegan I am always looking for easy, tasty sources of protein. (And so many powders prove to be disappointing—too chalky, too bland, too chemical in their taste. ) The Kroma Cacao Banana powder is simply delicious. I’ve been adding it to (decaf) coffee for a fabulous mocha but it also makes a satisfying shake. The Vanilla Cinnamon powder is also very good and mixes well with just about anything. I’m delighted to have these nutritious options available."
